Rules

These rules are to be followed at all times, updates will occur.

Email

All emails designated for the staff or site in general are to be sent to support@desktop-linux.org not and individual member's personal Email address.

Posting

Be respectful, do not flame other members, civil arguments are possible.

Do not include any obscene material (ie: adult material, advertising non computer products anywhere but the General section, etc).

Common Sense

Use your head. If you would not like to be on the receiving end of your action, and are unsure, please PM a mod or admin before hand.

Spammers Beware!

Here at Desktop-Linux.org, spam is not at all tolerated! You will be banned. By registering here, you may have already given us more information then you would want us to know. Remember, we are only human, and we all live by the same emotions, some being stronger than others, if you know what I mean. Wink Just a reminder, this is a group of intelligent computer administers, you may not enjoy the results of your spam. This is a small community, and the admins will usually see your post before anyone else and delete it before others (including google searches if that is your purpose) can see it, is it really worth it? Note: the posting of adult content in the purpose of spam will result in every option we have being used against you (perhaps in unexpected ways). This is a very interesting way of dealing with spam, and we have already dealt with it in these manors twice as of this post's date. You have been warned.

These rules may change as needed to accommodate problems that occur.

Here at Desktop-Linux.org, we respect your privacy, and no information will be shared with other members without your knowledge of it. All information sharing is for security or organization purposes only, and will not leave this site. However, starting now, all spammers IP addresses, sign up emails, and passwords will be placed for all to see on our site. This is for spammers only, other members, even if banned, have nothing to fear.
