Well, things seem to definitely be unfolding nicely for everyone here at http://www.desktop-linux.org!
Our logo is well underway with the basic design finalised and only small modifications to be made to the inner symbol (hopefully a penguin silhouette):

Also, siberianfox is working on our website, which is excellent! If you have any ideas for our philosophy, mission statement or just a sentence or two about what you think our new Linux distribution should/will embody, please post:

And we are still thinking up a name for both our project (or team or organisation, whatever you wish to call it) and our distribution. Preferably it should be short & sharp (like Vista), be original and reflect our purpose and objectives (like Ubuntu reflects is purpose of freedom for everyone and being kind to all, etc.)

In the meantime, everything seems to be falling slowly into place and everyone is contributing, which is always good!
Keep up the good work! _________________ --SamFisher47

| I am so glad that everyone is working so hard on this. I honestly don't know what to say lol. We are all actively participating, and there are no slackers. With this effort, we should have something to present to the world in just a few months (not a full distro, but perhaps an alpha) |
