The new posts in the To Do section (http://desktop-linux.org/forum/to-do-f14.html) will take upon a new format. Administrators (myself, siberianfox and helmetman) will be posting tasks that require completion each day, along with a recommendation/request as to who should be completing that task within curved brackets (). That user will either post that they can or can't, or if another user feels up to the task, they can also reply indicating their participation. An administrator will then update the first post to show who is already working on that task using square brackets [] and in bold. Other users should regularly view each day's To Do announcement for updates.

For example:

Quote:
November 7
*Website needs redevelopment (WebSiteMan)

Sorry, but I'll be quite busy for the next few days.

Hey, I can work on website redevelopment if you wish.

Update to original post:
November 7
*Website needs redevelopment [SomeOtherUser]

What do you guys think about this idea?

Sounds like a great way to get it moving, seeing we just seemed to have a shut down for a week.

This is a good format, but I can't reply to it because it's for admin. only.
