Yeah, fair enough. Then the hawk is a good idea, especially as it can see far ahead, indicating that we have a good vision of our future and we always know what is ahead!

i would like to reiterate that I only mentioned that directory idea as a curiosity because I don't have the technical knowledge and had considered it once as a possibility for a project I would never have been able to undertake myself.

I would hate to see someone else do it because I had suggested it and then run into unresolvable problems as a result.

well.. maybe we can "force" the file manager to change the view for users, as an option (experienced users may like the other one)
