KernelCheck is a project that is designed to easily build the latest kernel for your distribution using the instructions provided in the Master Kernel Thread. This automated process is a fork of AutoKernel by Robert Wolterman (xtacocorex), Timothy Janssen (mentok), and Kristof Verbeken (PinguinZ). KernelCheck is currently under the GNU Public License. |

lol sorry for my naivety, master_kernel, but what are the advantages of using the instructions from the Master Kernel thread? Does it provide instructions on how to compile the latest kernel, or does it tweak/customize the kernel for better desktop performance.
Once again, sorry for my naive questions _________________ --SamFisher47

Oh, the Master Kernel Thread is just a basis. I'm going to make KernelCheck incorporate much more, such as optimization, restricted drivers, etc.

| Definitely something we need to include. I don't have a lot of kernel compiling/installation experience, but for that which I've done and succeeded with I've used the Master Kernel Thread or KernelCheck. +1 |
