News

We now have a fully compiled kernel, among other things, we are ready to begin development. We should be done with most talking, and debating, now we just need to begin the actual development. For the time being, submit ideas with links, images, etc to really prove your suggestions.

To Do, November 11th and onward

For the following, please reply if you can help in the topics.

Create a Linux From Scratch distribution (just set it up, create an ISO or package of your choice, and upload it so we can download and work with it. It should have a simple root password, and be only text based) [SamFisher47]

Create a web "theme" (all other distros, and sites for that matter, have a color scheme, and stylish links and backgrounds to promote their idea on the site. If anyone can, please reply)

Design a PHPBB 2 theme for our forums. Does not have to be elaborate, just something that you own, and is basically a green version of our Light Blue Theme.

If you can help out in any area we did not mention, please let us know.

User Groups

I will be dividing the people up into User Groups based on specialty (IE: programmer, web designer, etc). Each will be allocated certain tasks, and will work together, rather than having individual people work on it. So, please PM, do not reply with this, PM me what group you should belong in. just tell me what field you are good at, and Ill find a group for you. Some examples: Programmers, Web Designers, Assemblers, Graphic Creators. Everyone must be in a group by November 20th so that we can be organized, and get things going.

Great, getting people for that seems to be the main concern.

I want to help very badly with the website but I am preoccupied with school. If I get a moment over the upcoming Thanksgiving break, I'll try my best to develop some basic theme.

I hate school. Rolling Eyes

The next step for me is creating a live cd kernel (if we make a live cd) and improving the one we will use for the distro.
