Introduction
Here, we are striving for a Linux distro that can be as perfect as possible. Include enough applications to choose from so that you can either select many of them for a nice desktop, only certain ones for a work one, or just a very basic selection for servers. It should also be easy to use with a lot of documentation, but not sacrifice power and strength at the terminal. It should accomplish what many others have failed at. We should look at the problems of others and fix them in ours. Of course, we will also look at the positive aspects of other distributions and try to incorperate them in ours.
Our community
Our community is a small group of dedicated individuals who are all actively participating in our project. Our project is somewhat new, so we are a growing community, but even now, our community is getting so much done. We are all working out of different countries, many of whom speak different languages. This will ultimately help to create a very diverse Linux, one that comes in many languages, and can incorporate culture and ideas.
Our finished product
Our finished product will have countless improvements made, as we hope it will be built up over time, and with many releases. We hope that our community can grow, and once we have finished the product, some of our veteran developers can turn to helping new users with our Linux. Overall we want to create a Linux that can be everything, just through the installation. For instance, on the same DVD, you will be able to install a desktop suitable Linux with a lot of eye candy, games, office suites, etc, or a server one with a higher emphasis on the job at hand, or even one for a work environment. Unlike the other distributions be such a large amount of choices that you can fully customize your distribution to be what you want it to be, and that will be our greatest strength over the others. You will be able to select anything from packages, to a more user friendly Linux if you need it, there is nothing you can not see in your Linux. This could go on forever, but to make it simple, when done, this Linux can be whatever you want it to be.
